Our project through the lens of a camera
The main participants will be teachers at comprehensive schools in Lithuania and Estonia, a vocational school in Finland, and Association of Latvian Labour Protection Specialists from Latvia, and the organization VON HOPE from Iceland. Also, one of the key participant of this project is the coordinator - entrepreneurship educational organization Foundation Järvamaa. All partners will share their competencies and through learning and studying, new educational materials will be created. During two years the project participants meet five times in very country of the partnership

Second meeting in Iceland
On May 19-23, 2024, the Project „Different Approaches to Teaching Science and Entrepreneurship in Nordic-Baltic Experience” team conducted the activities of an international meeting in Iceland. Together, colleagues from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Iceland had a number of seminars and workshops. In addition, the teachers got to know Iceland's traditions, culture, education system, peculiarities of education, and integration of foreigners into the country's society. The hosts shared good experiences in teaching science and entrepreneurship in Iceland. The project participants observed the work process of Icelandic counterparts, participated in round table discussions, and met local entrepreneurs. Not less importantly, the Team had the opportunity to continue cultural exploration collaboratively while visiting the most beautiful places in Iceland.

Third meeting in Lithuania
On December 2–3, partners from Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Iceland of the project “Different approaches to teaching Science and Entrepreneurship in Nordic-Baltic experience” all arrived at Vilnius district Pagiriai Gymnasium!
Vilnius d. Pagiriai gymnasium team prepared an interesting and rich academic and cultural program for the partners, which was full of new ideas, inspiration and opportunities for cooperation! Nothing can beat sharing best practices and learning from each other!

Fourth meeting in Finland
The fourth meeting of the Nordplus project was held in Ilmajoki, Finland, from March 6–7. During the meeting, participants were introduced to how Ilmajoki offers diverse educational opportunities for immigrants and how they are supported in their learning journey. Estonia was represented by Riina Hiob, Barbi Paatsi, and Kelly Saatmann.
The meeting day began with a seminar where the Finnish school presented its education system and explained how they organize their educational program. Teachers also had the opportunity to participate in a job shadowing day in Finnish schools.
The meeting concluded with a seminar where teachers shared their observations and lessons learned from classroom visits.
