Teaching Science and Entrepreneurship in Nordic-Baltic countries
The project will build a strong network of schools and other educational organizations that will enhance regular communication online and face-to-face, job shadowing, teaching, sharing of educational materials, creating educational materials together, and learning about each other's culture and society. This will create a positive effect on the quality of education and level of enjoyment of the learning process by students of the organization involved. Well-equipped and inspired teachers make creative and interesting methods in their classrooms that the students can benefit from firsthand. The level of internationalization and bonds between Nordic and Baltic schools will become more substantial during the implementation of this project and long after its finished.
Intellectual outputs
All partners will share their competencies and through learning and studying, new
educational materials will be created. During two years the project participants meet five
times in very country of the partnership. The project team will share good experiences with
educational communities outside this partnership in a spectrum of dissemination activities
that will promote the Nordplus project and encourage others to take part in the endeavor of
international cooperation. Materials will be created and will be uploaded to the website which
will be created for this project to be accessible to a wide public.
Ukrainian refugees
The main aim of the project is to enhance different approaches to teaching Science and
Entrepreneurship in the Nordic-Baltic experience, however, the secondary goal is to apply
inclusive education methods with a special emphasis on refugees and Ukrainian refugees.
During the last year, the world was stunned by the war that was started against Ukraine by
the aggressor Russian Federation. Various countries, including Baltic and North countries,
received thousands of refugees, many of whom are pupils and students of different ages. So
the number of refugees has increased in schools by a large margin. Children from foreign
countries have different attitudes, beliefs, traditions, and values and Ukrainian children were
traumatized by war, and catering to their educational needs is an even more sensitive matter.
